あさひ学園幼稚部 (Japanese Kindergarten)

あさひ学園幼稚部の入園式でチューリップの歌を歌いました。

Moyno started Japanese Kindergarten at Asahi Gakuen.

The kids sang the "Tulip Song".



Learned to fold a tulip with Origami, so she did it at home, too!

２週目に折り紙を習ったので、家でもやってみた。

Egg-citement Hunt

Went to an Easter Egg Hunt sponsered by the city.  :)

市主催のエッグハントに行ってきました。



In the two-year-olds section, you can hear the parents trying to get the kids to pick up eggs.

The other sections, the eggs were gone in minutes.  :)

２歳児コーナーでは親が子供にタマゴを拾わせようとしているが、

それ以外のコーナーでは一瞬でタマゴがなくなります。（笑）

Volunteer

I had a rare Friday, where my workplace was observing a holiday, and my daughter had school.

So she wanted me to volunteer in class.  :)



I don't remember the order of events, but is started out with sharing the letter of the week ("M").


The Pledge of Allegiance came somewhere in the middle of class.


They did a couple crafts, the Easter bunny came with fake grass and a plastic egg with three chocolate eggs in it.

Sang some songs to learn about the calendar:  Months of the year and Days of the week.

This is how they get their exercise.  :)

Played a story from Storybots, starring one of her friends.

During recess, she had a snack and then ran around in the playground with her friends.

The day ended with a movie, "The Easter Bunny is Coming to Town".

The "Late Bear" kids were also watching, and the "Early Bear" kids were dismissed during the movie.

(FYI, the volunteer work was cutting out pieces of the very hungry caterpillar.)

Party Horn? Paper Tongue?

I don't know what they are called, but he's having a load of fun with it.  :)

このオモチャ、なんて呼ぶのでしょうかね～？
